At Shelley College we believe that everyone has a right to be safeguarded and everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has a role to play in safeguarding children.
Safeguarding covers more than child protection. It encompasses a wide range of issues from student health to child sexual exploitation (CSE), further information is available in our Safeguarding Policy which can be found on the website.
At Shelley College all members of staff feel that it is particularly important to work with families, identify concerns early and provide help for children, to prevent concerns from escalating.
If you have any Safeguarding concerns please contact Mrs Carr, the Designated Safeguarding lead.
